Pucker factor peaking for a select few in the BDFL

FOXBORO - There are basically 11 teams left to compete for the 2009 BDFL title. Within this group are a precious few that are feeling the most pressure for a shot at the season ending Big Daddy Championship (BDCS) that starts in Week 15. Atop the Pucker Factor Poll are the Rocky Ridge Wildcats who have a great point total (324), but are still one game shy of the seven to be BDCS eligible. Next on the Pucker Factor Poll are the Fairfield PowerSleds followed by the Black Creek Wooden Warriors, North Canton Bootleggers and the Cool Springs Grenades. If these teams fail to win another game, they will not be eligible for the Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) under the "Bullet Rule" for not having a winning record to win the BDFL title and will have to settle for the Big Mullet Series (BMS).

NEW YORK CITY – Reminiscent of Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights, the Juggernauts used their patented "Shake & Bake" combination to out run the Bootleggers in an old school stock car race-like game at the newly renovated Yankee Stadium. This was a neutral site game scheduled in the Big Apple to expand the BDFL's exposure in the nation's media capital. However, the game turned into a four hour marathon (3:52:49 to be exact) part pain, part ecstasy as Allyson finished the New York Marathon at 420th in her classification/age group and 10,566th overall. The Jugtown native ran the Marathon faster than WFL legend Ron Slovensky and faster than Ricky Bobby ran the Boston Marathon. Congratulations Allyson!
