THE BIG STORY

The solidarity of Polish and Slavic forces avenges the German invasion of 1939

BRATISLAVA,SR - In the BDFL's first game over seas as part of the league's initiative to broaden it's appeal internationally, the Helena Fighting Slovaks with the help of the Polish Prince (Sebastian Janikowski) avenged the German invasion and take over of 1939 with a 46-31 vict'ry for the ages over the Druid City Blitz here at Tehelné Pole (Brickfield) Stadium on Sunday in Week 11. A capacity crowd of 30,085 Slovak fans gathered to witness this historic game, many whom still remained in the stadium at press time celebrating with Steiger Hell Beer, klobása, nut roll, prachy and ham.
