Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) playoff picture coming into focus

FOXBORO - The BDCS is becoming more in focus with each passing week as the season moves closer to Week 14 when eight teams will qualify for the run at the Big Daddy Bowl. Here's how the media experts see it thus far...

> IN: Wildcats, Gamblers, Juggernauts and

> OUT: Dogs, Wizards, PowerSleds and

> ON THE BUBBLE: Bullets, Blitz, Woosiers, Grenades, Wooden Warriors, Bootleggers, Fighting Slovaks, Sloth Monsters, Mayors and Cheetahs.

The Bullet Rule will apply meaning a 7-7 or greater record is required to make the playoffs.

THE BIG STORY

Whether it's rice, bras, or Sloths, the 'Nauts are burning down the house

WINDY CITY - Reminiscent of Randy "Burnout" Allen in 1981, the Jugtown Juggernauts are in a burnout mode as they continue setting the BDFL on fire. The 'Nauts are famous for burning rice and bras, but this season they are torching their opponents at a  record pace. The big question will be whether the Rice Rockets can keep the fire burning long enough without BDFL Rookie of the Year candidate RB-Adrian Peterson/MIN who may be out weeks with a knee injury (pronounced IN-jor-ree like Sam Malone in his infamous Cheers rapping sportscast). The BDFL media experts are predicting a crash and burn for the Burners.
