THE BIG STORY

Bullets assassinate the Juggernauts in a special Saturday night brouhaha

BENTON - Lowndes County may be dry, but it didn't keep the Bullets from drinking heavy and sleeping in the road after delivering a death blow to the Rice Rockets 60-25 here on Saturday Night Special Night at Rebel Stadium. The Bullets were flying high in the second half after Lynyrd Skynyrd played a special tribute to Molly Hatchet at halftime. This was also a major win for Hyundai over Honda for import automotive plant of the state. Mercedes-Benz declined an invitation to the evening's brouhaha for fear of a lawsuit from the Japs.
