The Mayors are the last team standing in an old fashioned BDFL beat down MAGIC CITY – Reminiscent of legendary Sheriff Buford T. Pusser of McNairy County, TN back in the early 70s, the Mayors are kicking @$$ and taking names in the BDFL. Last week the Pacifist Slovaks were first on the list. In Week 2, the latest victims were the Pasco County Carpet Riders, who flew into Jefferson County with their own version of carpet bagging corruption, but found the mighty Mayors waving a stick too big to mess with. One of Pusser's favorite saying was "the measure of a man is how tall he walks" and at 2-0 in the rugged Gray Beard Division after two weeks, the Mayors are truly walking tall.

After two highly
successful Throwback Weeks, the BDFL will celebrate the pro football past with their
third annual Throwback Week in Week 9. All teams will represent a World Football League team from the past (1974-75) during
the week's action. Throwback helmets, uniforms and past players will
highlight the week's games. Get your early requests in now. The Woosiers
have selected the 1974 Jacksonville Sharks as their "throw down" team.
