RICKA Rule transactions could bolster scoring in Week 2 and beyond

FOXBORO - Many BDFL teams have exercised the RICKA Rule to shed their injured players and replace them with undrafted players, that by Week 1 standards, could bolster scoring in Week 2 and beyond. QB-Cassel/NE, WR-Royal/DEN, WR-Jones/JAX, PK-Novak/KC and WR-Jackson/PHI look to be the best additions, so far. RICKA stands for Released, Injured, Cut, Kicked-Off, or Arrested. If any player drafted falls within these parameters as deemed by the Commish, then teams can drop that player and replace him with an undrafted player. Teams must make their RICKA moves before the weekly starter deadline on Friday, September 12th at 5pm.

THE BIG STORY

The Bullets start off the opening weekend with a bang to crash the Blitz

DRUID CITY – After a better than normal draft for the Bullets that saw them actually select all players from NFL rosters, the Black Belt Gunslingers shot down the home standing Third Reich 40-21 at Bryant-Denny in front of 92,000 in Falls City Beer opening weekend action in the BDFL. The Bullets also started off last season with a big bang in Week 1 only to crash and burn themselves by mid-season. This year could be different, but we'll have to see if this bunch of Rebels are ready for the big time.

Fast Willie Parker and the Benton Bullets got a jump start on the BDFL with a big day during the Falls City Beer Opening Weekend
