2nd Shiner Bock Mock Draft

The BDFL News

Shiner Bock Mock Draft is another BDFL tradition

By Mel Kiper, Jr.

Making it as a rookie in the BDFL may be the toughest thing to do in all of football. Not only does the BDFL draft the year's class of rookies before they know what team they are going to play for, but many get dropped at the BDFL's Miller Genuine Draft before the season even starts. However, this is a cutting edge concept developed by Iron Hand, the Commissioner of the BDFL, and it provides great excitement and anticipation for the league and their fans. There should be plenty of talent to fill up the single round of selections.

The Next Best

Looking for that diamond in the rough? Who will be this year's Marques Colston? Our host of media experts (Keith Jackson, Mel Kiper, Jr. Lee Grosscup, Tom Mees, Sterling Brewer, Mike Hogwood and Gil Tyree, just to name a few) predict a big time sleeper will arise from this next batch of potential BDFL stars. Will any BDFL team reach to pick a player from this talented vine?

THE BIG STORY

The second annual BDFL Shiner Bock Mock Draft has gone down like a longneck

FOXBORO - All the BDFL's media expects have weighted in and the result is the BDFL's 2nd Annual Shiner Bock Mock Draft. Consisting of just one round just like the BDFL's Rolling Rock Pony Draft, The Mock, as it is called by the BDFL insiders, has been completed with what is predicted to happen the week of April 23rd when the Pony Draft takes place via email throughout the league. Swift rusher Adrian Peterson from Oklahoma is predicted to go first while Auburn's physical running back, Kenny Irons, is expected to round out this year's herd of ponies.

In the touchdown driven BDFL, RB-Adrian Peterson/OKL could be the prize thoroughbred of the entire 2007 Rolling Rock Pony Draft
