The BDFL News The RICKA Rule is now in place through Week 1 FOXBORO - RICKA stands for Released, Injured, Cut, Kicked-Off, or Arrested. If any player drafted falls within these parameters as determined by the Commissioner of the BDFL, Iron Hand, then you can drop that player and replace him with an undrafted player. The RICKA Rule will be in place from now through all Week 1 games. You must make your RICKA player moves before the deadline on Friday, September 12th at 5:00pm when Week 2 starters are due. The next time to make roster changes and additions will be Tuesday, October 21st when the Steiger Supplemental Draft takes place. Click here for more info. New draft rules serve their purpose at the BDFL's annual draft FOXBORO - After a few years of letting the inmates run the asylum, the BDFL's top brass led by Commissioner, Iron Hand, brought order and direction back to the league's annual draft with a few changes. The changes seemed to be fair to those attending while not forgetting those who could not make it. The draft ran well in the early going and finished with few hitches. Don;t look for any major changes in the BDFL's annual drafts. 2008 Team Rosters are now available on line FOXBORO - For the second straight year, all BDFL team rosters are now available online complete with links to each players own personal page. VESTAVIA –
The BDFL's 14th annual draft was another classic. From the Wildcats
dropping their Pony pick (QB-Joe Flacco) before the draft then
turning around to take him with a late round pick to the PowerSleds
patented "no name" picks of RB-Pierre Thomas/NO and WR-Laurent
Robinson/ATL. Thirteen teams were present with three proxy pickers
for those absent. The new draft rules laid out by Iron Hand served
their purpose. The Mayors were excellent hosts as usual and a good time was
had by all. Thanks to the teams and fans that make the BDFL the best
fantasy league in the world!
