The 2004 BDFL play-off picture is taking shape

GREEN SPRINGS - The new play-off format will reward point performance as well as consistency. To qualify you'll have to have enough points to be ahead in your division and a winning record to advance. For instance, if the regular season ended after Week 10 these would be your play-off match-ups...

All are leading their divisions and all could win the championship with a winning record as required by the league's bylaw #1997BS.

Kawliga takes Mayor Arrington to the woodshed for a whipping

FAIR PARK - In an pre-season church league basketball game at the State Fairgrounds Arena, after a cheap foul on a lay-up Kawliga invited Tricky Dick Arrington to come outside. Kawliga  then escorted the leader of the Cronies behind the grandstand and proceeded to pound the living daylights out of the Mayor for an old fashioned woodshed whipping.
