 The Roll Call

Cheetahs eager to defend their title

RIVERCHASE - Last year the Cheetahs entered the season with a lot of unknowns. This season is no different. To win a BDFL tilte a team must get points from unexpected sources (Ahman Green in '03 for example) throughout the season to prevail. NcNabb is a given and will produce similar to Manning a year ago. The Cheetahs chances to repeat will hinge on the unknown, mainly with the following questions that must be answered...

1. Will Marshall Faulk stay healthy for the whole year?

2. Will Ron Dayne finally live up to his potential?

3. Can Keyshawn Johnson be a scoring threat in Big D?

4. Will Wilkens score like he did in 2003?

5. Can Baltimore's Defense continue to score on a regular basis?

If the answer is "yes" to three or more of these five questions the Cheetahs have a chance to repeat. Only answer two or less of these questions and the Cheetahs could be a one hit wonder on the BDFL runway.

Donovan McNabb is expected to have a big hand in the Cheetahs success in 2004

After their dance through the Big Daddy Bowl last year, the Cheetahs are poised for the encore

RIVERCHASE - After last year's Big Daddy Bowl vict'ry, Cheetah head Coach, Mike Price, parlayed the 2003 BDFL Championship into a job on the sunny Texas border. If the Cheetahs are to reach the BDFL's highest table top this season it will have to be under new leadership from a living legend when Broadway Joe "I Want To Kiss You" Namath takes over the reins. Namath and Cheetahs could be the perfect combination for another title dance to come Riverchase's way.
