Supplemental Draft set for Friday, Nov. 5th

The annual Supplemental Draft is set for Friday, Nov. 5th at 12 noon at the Original Steakhouse Sports Bar & Grill on Green Springs Highway near Office Depot.

Winning record essential to making BDFL playoffs

Ever since the Bullets landed their tainted title in 1997, the BDFL has mandated that all champions from then on would have to have a winning record to win the title. So going into Week 16 a team must be at least 8-7 to make the playoffs.

Wizards win a wild one against the Wildcats thanks to some old black magic

GREYSTONE - With their backs to the wall, curled up in the fetal position, and down by 19-points after Sunday, the Wizards needed a miracle to beat the Mildcats. “No,” said Merlin, “What we needed was just a little black magic.” So, “Hocus-Pocus, Presto, and Alakazam!” The Wizards got 21-points on Monday Night Football and snatched vict’ry from the jaws of certain defeat.
