   THE BDFL NEWS

The RICKA Rule

Put in place a few years back to take the whining out of the BDFL, the RICKA (Replace Injured, Cut, Kicked-Off, or Arrested) Rule will be in place until Week #2 games. The rule is designed to take away excuses and give each team a way to deal with any unfortunate circumstances that may arise in preseason and after Week #1.

How does it work you ask? Say for instance you have a drafted BDFL player that becomes a late NFL salary cap casualty. You can then drop that player from your BDFL roster and add an undrafted player. The RICKA Rule is on a first come, first serve basis and all transactions must be approved by the Commissioner.

First draftee overall - Priest Holmes and the Woosiers will try to strong arm their way to the BDFL title in 2004

Drafted first overall in the 2004 BDFL Genuine Draft, Chief Priest will try to lead the Woosiers to the title

OLD WEATHERLY - With past Shaft Drafts as distant memories, the Woosiers scooped up Priest Holmes with the first selection overall and with him the vision of bringing home a BDFL title to Blount County. LaDanian Tomlinson went second to the Bootleggers, while Shaun Alexander went third to the Grenades. For a complete first round summary visit Iron Hand's page.
