Bullet Hand-i-caps the 2004 BDFL Genuine Draft

MEDIA VOID - Now that the 2004 Genuine Draft is in the books, who were the winners, whiners and losers. Well, it's apparent that Bullet is not the most obnoxious BDFLer these days. Bullet lost the title Saturday night to newcomer Jerry James, leader of the James Gang. But, what else can we expect in naught-4.

GRAY BEARD DIVISION
The Commish's effort to design a league format where he can actually win may come to pass. Not only is Iron battling just three other Gray Beards for a post-season spot, he didn't choke on draft night.

1. Brady, Shaun Alexander and Terrell Owens give the Grenades the best chance of winning the division.
2. Cheetahs - Defending champs have McNabb, Faulk and little else.
3. Mayors - Air McNair and little else.
4. PowerSleds - How far can Peyton take them?

RED NECK DIVISION
Woo was a no show, but he got the 1st pick and his stand-in didn't mess it up with Priest Holmes a sure money player in the BDFL. But this division should be close with three barrels of trouble aimed at the Woo Crew.

1. Woosiers look tough to beat on paper
2. Gamblers - Garcia, McAlister and Harrison give these guys a strong hand.
3. Bullets - Has anybody else got four starting running backs? But you can only play two per week.
4. Bootleggers - Nothing to go with 2nd overall pick Tomlinson.

YELLOW HAMMER DIVISION
This division is certainly yellow for a reason.

1. The Dogs get the top nod with Trent Green, Portis and Holt anchoring key positions.
2. Juggernauts - A.E. got Vick and Stephan Davis and could contend.
3. Blades - Culpepper and a prayer.
4. Wildcats - Mr. Obnoxious gets a few has-beens and bench warmers.

GREEN HORN DIVISION
This should be the most competitive and may pull in the most overall points, probably because no one drafted too high, or too low Saturday night.

1. The Wizards look like the team to beat (on paper) with Bulger, Jamal Lewis, and Elam... but the others will be close.
2. Wooden Warriors - Still stinging from '03 choke... but, Ahman's on his side this time around.
3. Sloth Monsters - He got a new logo.
4. Fighting Slovaks - Not a bad rookie draft. But needs another Moss or two.
