When the heavily favored Tribe battles the resurgent Fox Hole Gang in Big Daddy Bowl VIII
LOWNDES CO. - The Rebel faithful showed up expecting to see a classic BDCS semi-final game, but got to see what can only be best described as a "woodshed" experience. As the Fox Hole Gang broke one off in the Apple Dumpling Gang in a Battle of Brotherly Love along the banks of the Alabama River. While up the state's tributaries in the other BDCS semi-final match-up on the reservation along the banks of the mucky Black Creek, Kawliga and the Woodskins stayed on the warpath by knocking off the three-time champion Cheetahs with surgical scrub precision. Setting up a monumental match-up for Week 17's Big Daddy Bowl VIII between brotherly rivals that have never won a BDFL title. To accommodate the estimated over flow crowd, the game will be played on the semi-neutral Ed Bruce Field at the Gardendale Rockets Driver Stadium. All tickets have been sold with standing room only remaining. It has the makings of a BDFL instant classic.

themselves on the brink of another
Big
Mullet
Series (BMS) title when they kick-off this Sunday in Gulf
Shores at the FloraBama against the Jugtown Juggernauts. If the Shiners
win this year's Big Mullet Bowl, Jon Wood has promised to provide the
BDFL with a Big Mullet Series trophy. The BDFL thanks Landshark Lager
for being the BMS presenting sponsor.
