Former Bama defender Mark Anderson and the Bears defense came up big for the Jugtown Juggernauts in Week 4

> Burning Down The House video

THE BIG STORY

The Bear connection fuels the Rice/Bra Burners as they burn down the Blitz

TUSCALOOSA - In the shadow of the Bear, Chicago Bears Robbie Gould, Jay Cutler and the DaBears defense accounted for all of Nauts points, as the Rice/Bra Burners (with the Legal Eagle at mission control of the 2009 Honda Pilot) launched flame throwing missiles to shoot down the Druid City Blitz 39-15 before they could finish their fly-over at Bryant-Denny. After the Bloody Red Baron was seen crashing and burning at Kentuck Park during their annual Antique Air Show all was good. Cutler, Gould, former Crimson Tider Mark Anderson and the rest of the BearNauts joined the Fritz Blitz co-ed intramural softball team on Fraternity Row to take in Mel & The Party Hats at the SAE house to listen to their favorite covers and sing along with Mel... "Hold tight wait till the party's over, hold tight, we're in for nasty weather, there   has   got   to    be   a    way,  burning down the house".

The 2009 Steiger Supplemental Draft

Who will be the best available players when the 2009 Steiger Supplemental Draft rolls around after Week 8?

The BDFL's 2009 annual Steiger Supplemental Draft will start on Tuesday, November 3rd after all Week 8 games. The two round email draft allows each team to drop two non-productive players and add two more players not currently on any BDFL roster. The draft order is from last place to first place for both rounds and the draft is designed to help struggling teams close the talent gap for the remaining nine games of the season. Who will be the best options available for the picking?

Here are the top 22 players not on any current BDFL roster...

The BDFL News

You'll not see nothing from the Mighty Quinn

BILOXI - The Gulf Coast Gamblers traded QB-Brady "The Mighty" Quinn and WR-Hakeem Nicks to the Cool Springs Grenadiers for QB-Sage Rosenfels and WR-Santana Moss. The deal has been approved by Iron Hand, the Commissioner of the BDFL. Shortly after the trade the Browns benched Quinn in favor of Derek Anderson. Therefore, the Grenadiers are in the market for any starting quarterback in the league. The league will accept trades up to the starter deadline for Week 9 games. All trades must be submitted to Iron Hand in an email request for his approval. All trades are non-reversible. All trades are scrutinized by the Commissioner to make sure everything is on the up and up. The Mighty Quinn -"They musta been on some good stuff"--DK
