Wes Welker and the Fighting Slovaks were flying high after their 51-29 assault of the Woosiers in Week 6

THE BIG STORY

Slovaks call on family to save the show, keep the gate and defeat the Woosiers 51-29

BESSEMER - When the Backstreet Boys failed to show up for their Reunion Tour date on Sunday at the Alabama Adventure Theme Park (supposedly a neutral field, right?) the skeleton staff at AA were faced with a huge dilemma. Turn the 30,000 screaming women away and refund their $50 admission to the park, or come up with some alternative entertainment to keep the cash. After a one-hour delay and four strategic phone calls the newly created Backstreet Slovaks took the stage with a show for the ages that offended a few, but pleased the masses. The show ended on the park's signature "Rampage" roller coaster to the thrill of the crowd as the hip hop Slovaks sang their encore "I Want It That Way". The Backstreet Slovaks are Adam Slovensky, Andrew Slovensky, Grant Slovensky, Ryan Slovensky and Patrick Maxwell.

The Mighty Quinn gets put on the road again

FOXBORO - The Mighty Brady Quinn is on the road again this time in a four player deal as the Rocky Ridge Wildcats send RB-Ryan Grant/GB and QB-David Garrard/JAX to the Cool Springs Grenadiers in return for RB-Matt Forte/CHI and QB-Brady Quinn/CLE. This trade was approved by Iron Hand Commissioner of the BDFL   for Week 6 games. WARTS and Team Rosters online have been updated. The league will accept trades up to the starter deadline for Week 9 games. All trades must be submitted to Iron Hand for his approval. All trades are non-reversible. All trades must be scrutinized by the Commissioner to make sure everything is on the up and up. The Mighty Quinn -"They musta been on some good stuff"--DK
