After re-grouping in Atmore, the Grenade Brigade circled the tanks in Gulf Shores and prepared for the Dorian invasion on Perdido Beach. By pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps, sticking to their guns and using the weapons they had already assembled, the Green Berets carpet bombed the Altadenians (44-15) before they could even dock their longships on the shore of the Alabama Gulf Coast. It looks like the Grenadiers have now escaped a six-week quagmire that had them bogged down. This big win makes it one in a row over the Dorians, it raises the Grenadiers win-loss record to 1-6 on the season and it restores hope for more sunny days ahead for the Mineral faithful.
