The BDFL's official 2018 trade transactions

TITLETOWN - As most everybody knows these days, the BDFL was built on integrity and still stands to this day on integrity. This can be challenged from time to time when teams try to work out their own trades in a smoke-filled back room. Most BDFL trades are worked in private, but the league is not opposed to a public appeal when it comes to trades. The goal of any BDFL trade should be equal value for equal value, but every once in awhile you’ll have some crackpot try to hoodwink the Commissioner. All BDFL trades basically follow the same protocol. The trades are agreed upon by both teams (sometimes more than two teams) and then submitted to the Commissioner for the league's final approval. The Commissioner is a fair man and his goal is always to do what it right and to do what is in the best interest of the league, overall. He can also smell a skunk from a 100 miles away. So when it comes to BDFL trades, don’t try to do your “suck buddy” a favor unless he’s doing you one as well. Trades can start as early as Draft Night with your draft position and are extended until Week #12 of the regular season. No trades are allowed after the Week #12 starters are due.

TRADE #1: League Approved 09/4/18

Gamblers trade QB-McCown/NYJ and RB-Michel/NE to the Grenadiers for QB-Foles/PHI and RB-Jones/TB and vice versa.  

TRADE #3: League Approved 10/3/18

Grenadiers trade QB-Garoppolo/SF, RB-Collins/BAL and WR-Jones/DET to the Mayors for QB-Mariota/TEN, RB-Murray/MIN and WR-Anderson/NYJ and vice versa.
