 Wildcats turn the BDFL into a Wild Wild Life

NEW ORLEANS - First and foremost, the BDFL is an equal opportunity league, meaning any team can win the championship title in any given year. The Jugtown Juggernauts busted out of the Null Set Club last year for their first title to prove this point. The Western Hills Wildcats repeated the act this season with a miraculous vict'ry over the Black Creek Freebirds in Big Daddy Bowl XVI. Is this a great league, or what? From their Sneak Peak Guide days to the four wide-out set innovation and then the one year hiatus for skipping the 2011 Genuine Draft, the Wildcats have now climbed the biggest mountain in the BDFL. In a rare match-up of the BDFL's two best teams this season (Wildcats were 11-5 with 466 points and the Freebirds were 15-1 with 486 points going in to this heavy-weight bout) in Big Daddy Bowl XVI, the BioCats found just the right formula to knockout the high-flying Freebirds, 42-21, for the 2017 BDFL Championship Title and the coveted Grand Daddy Trophy. With a ballsy starting line-up change in Week 17 that included Jimmy Garoppolo over Dak Prescott at quarterback, the Wildcats stayed true to their "wild" nature to pull off, what in all probability is, the biggest upset in BDFL history. Not an easy task in The Big Easy. The Wildcats also edged the Freebirds for the most total points for the season by one, 508-507. For some reason, this one took me back to the 1980s and two Talking Heads classics. Enjoy Wild Wild Life and Once In A Lifetime in celebration of the Wildcats historic win in the BDFL.
