 The Roll Call

An inside look at the BDFL's Riverchase Cheetahs

by Butch Neal

RIVERCHASE -

Pro Football Connection:

Spots on Cheetahs are like stripes on Tigers, or Bengals, for that matter. The Cheetahs are closely aligned with the Cincinnati Bengals in their colors and uniform schemes. However, the Cheetahs us more white and the biggest difference is the burnt orange, like the University of Texas, as opposed to the regular orange of the Bengals.

   THE BIG STORY

Cheetahs take Maurice Stovall in the Pony Draft hoping he can cook up some points in the BDFL

FOXBORO - With the last pick in the first ever BDFL Rolling Rock Pony Draft, the Riverchase Cheetahs took the explosive receiver Maurice Stovall from Notre Dame. Stovall was not selected on the first day of the NFL Draft, but don't put much stock in that. Stovall can play and has big play potential. In a down year for receivers in the draft, Stovall will be a valuable weapon for some team and the Cheetahs in 2006.

With moves like this after the score, it's easy to see why the Riverchase Cheetahs made Maurice Stovall their Pony pick
