New Reign tree stump stomps the Third Reich 

DRUID CITY, AL – During the off-season on the rough and rocky campaign trail, the Mayors have delivered one consistent message, heard over and over and over… “WE'RE GONNA MAKE THE BDFL GREAT AGAIN”. They even handed out some truck driver caps and officially licensed BDFL banners to their constituents to drive home the message of hope with their patented mission statement. In every city in the league, in every draft war room and in every tree stump speech, the Mayor pledged to “WIN BIG” and recapture the glory with their second BDFL title (the first was in 2002 back when things were good in the BDFL). As we all know, action speaks louder than words, so to really do so, the Mayors will have to eliminate 15 challengers. Several have already caved-in under their own shortcomings... lack of commitment, lack of skill and lack of leadership, while the others will have to be eliminated on the battlefield. Such was the case on Sunday at Bryant-Denny Stadium as the New Reign stomped the Nazi Party and their storied Third Reich (47-32) in a cupcake clash that should not have even been this close. This landmark vict'ry is to serve as a notice to the rest of the BDFL... NEVER EVER underestimate a team with a mission statement, some cheap giveaways, and a rich leader with a comb-over swoop.
