1 |
RB - Derrick Henry TEN – Henry is a beast. The Titans
will use the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner to ground and pound like
the Steelers used Jerome Bettis when Mike Mularkey was the OC in
Pittsburgh. |
2 |
QB - Jared Goff LA – "LA Woman Sunday afternoon" is what
Goff will be most of the season as he learns on the job with the
new Los Angeles Rams of Anaheim in Orange County, California
(LARAOCC). |
3 |
RB
- Ezekiel Elliott DAL – Elliott is the complete package and the Cowboys
will ride him behind their impressive OL. Look for Zeke to be in
the running for the BDFL's Pony of the Year, if there is such a
thing. |
4 |
WR
- Laquon Treadwell MIN – Treadwell is a gamechanger and a
true #1 receiver. The Vikings need his physical presence to take
some heat off of Diggs and give Bridgewater a fresh drink of
cool water. |
5 |
QB - Carson Wentz PHI – Wentz in Philly will be an
internship in 2016. Look for the Mayors to keep the big Bison on
the bench in case some strange things happen in the City of
Brotherly Love this season. |
6 |
WR - Josh Doctson WAS – The 'Skins haven't really had a
Hall of Fame type receiver since Ark Monk left after the
1993 season. We don't think Doctson is Hall of Fame material,
but you get the point. |
7 |
WR - Sterling Shepard NYG – He's only 5'10" 194 pounds,
but he is a competitor, especially in the slot. He also brings
value in the return game. He is one of the most feisty
competitors in the entire draft. |
8 |
QB - Conner Cook OAK – The Raiders like Cook's "vertical"
passing game which "vertical" literally means "straight up".
Look for Cook to sit and learn behind Carr and be a capable
back-up when called upon. |
9 |
WR - Braxton Miller
HOU – The Gamblers rolled the dice on the converted
quarterback from Ohio State. Miller's upside is tremendous, but
will he be able to work his way on the field with the Texans? |
10 |
TE - Hunter Henry SD – Henry is by far the most talented
tight end in this draft and will be a great replacement for
Antonio Gates this upcoming season and for several more years to
come. |
11 |
WR - Michael Thomas NO – The Saints need receivers
and Thomas is a big play threat. He should get plenty of playing
time as Drew Brees and Sean Payton try to re-capture the mojo in
NOLA. |
12 |
RB
- Devontae Booker
DEN
– Booker is the one-cut type back that the Broncos love.
He provides needed depth and will get plenty of work in the
rotation as Denver breaks in a new signal caller. |
13 |
PK
- Roberto Aguayo TB
– With the 30-yard extra points now in the NFL, there is a premium on kickers.
The Buccaneers reached early in the second round to keep the talented
Floridian close to home. |
14 |
RB
- Keith Marshall WAS
– The Woosiers took a chance on a
sleeper with the swift and often-injured Marshall, but the same
was said for Terrell Davis when he was at UGA and we know how
that worked out. |
15 |
WR
- Corey Coleman CLE
– The Browns can use a
playmaker as they rebuild for the 18th season in a row, this
time under new coach Hue Jackson. Coleman will be open, if RG3
has time to find him. |
16 |
WR - Will Fuller HOU
– The Sloth Monsters get the steal of the 2016 Pony Draft
with the field-stretching Fuller. He's an instant starter in
Houston and will draw lots of man coverage opposite Hopkins. |
