444 Magnum: Locked and loaded again

Long live the notorious “444 Magnum” a death-defying combination then and now

WATSON - Back in the day when Iron (98 lbs.) and the Woosier (112 lbs.) were greenhorn freshmen wrestling at GHS a special bond was formed. From the grueling practices and the lack of food, a brotherhood of survival was born. It carried over to football as toughie partners and on bus rides to games. Known as “444 Magnum” for their jersey numbers “4” and “44” and death-defying play, the winning combination continued at UA as roommies and with the Flat Boys/Bricks as they dominated UA intramurals. It continues today in the BDFL.
