The BDFL goes north of the border

Throwback Week 2015, the BDFL pays tribute to the Canadian Football League

BALTIMORE – Well we tried to go back to Canada for Throwback Week, but ended up in Baltimore circa 1995. Just like Week 6 of the BDFL this season, the Baltimore Stallions defeated the Calgary Stampeders in the 1995 Grey Cup becoming the only American franchise ever to be crowned champions of the Canadian Football League. Counting the playoffs, the Stallions ended the '95 season on a 16-game winning streak. The Stallions moved to Montreal in 1996 and became the third rendition of the Alouettes. More here.

Mike Pringle had a monster year in 1995 for the Baltimore Stallions with 1,791 yards rushing and 13 TDs

Annual Supplemental Draft to take place after Week 7 action
AUDUBON PLACE - The BDFL's annual Sup Draft will start on Tuesday, October 27th following all Week 7 games. The Sup Draft will follow the traditional order with the lowest overall point total team selecting first and the highest overall point team selecting last. There will be one round with each team having the ability to drop one player and add another unclaimed player for the rest of the season. If you can't respond to the email draft in a timely fashion, please send Iron Hand the player you want to drop and your top 3-4 choices to fill the vacancy prior to the draft and we'll see what he can do to help your team fill in your roster hole.
