Really dealin' with a Dead Man's Hand

The Haymakers knock off the Gambino in a classic BDFL Wild Wild West Shootout

WEST BLOUNT – Woosier played Jack “Crooked Nose” McCall, a two-bit buffalo hunter from Kentucky and the Gambino played Wild Bill Hickok, the legendary gamblin' gunfightin' lawman. Hickok was killed from behind by McCall while playing poker at Nuttal & Mann's Saloon in Deadwood, SD on August 2, 1876. The hand held by Wild Bill at the time of his death (Aces & 8s) is known as the "Dead Man's Hand". This is also where “Know when to run” comes from in the proverbial tune entitled The Gambler.

Waiver Wire Week to come after Week #10 games are completed

AUDUBON - The BDFL will give teams one more chance to make a roster move with the 4th annual Waiver Wire Week. On a first come, first service basis, each team will be able to drop one player and pick-up another non-roster player after Week 10 has been completed.
