Rice Rockets roll over the Armadillos

It wasn't pretty, but the 'Nauts finally made road kill of the Armos in Week 5

DUNCANVILLE – Nowadays Hondas are made in Lincoln and Lincolns are made in Honduras. In most places they call them Lincoln Continentals, but in Plano, Texas they just call them plain ol’ Lincolns. Ford plans to launch a new Lincoln Continental in 2016, so keep an eye out for those retros. One thing Hondas and Lincolns both share in common is the fact when confronted with an armadillo in the road, either automobile will win this battle with little trouble. Same goes for the BDFL when these two meet.

The kicking carousel continues to plague professional football

AUDUBON PLACE - When the NFL moved the extra point back to the equivilent of a 33 yd. field goal this season, they made one of the most secure jobs in the league, the most vulnerable. Since Draft Night, there has been over 12 placekicking changes in the NFL. The Steelers alone have made four changes through five games. This can be insanity for BDFL owners especially in bye weeks before the Week 7 Sup Draft. This week the Wooden Warriors, who have suffered through a carousel of changes in Tampa, had to trade for another kicker (Succop/TEN) that could be gone next week. If you have a good one, keep him. If you don't have a good one, you better find one.
