Woosiers smoke the Sleds once again

If last year's Big Daddy Bowl wasn't convincing enough, this one was

DOLOMITE - Growing up in Fairfield may have been tough, but making a living in Bessemer is even tougher. The Woosiers showed their "pluck and grit" once again in a rematch of Big Daddy Bowl XIII to smoke the Sleds 46-31 at the infamous Dolodome. Pretending they were batting against Forrest Farmer the entire game, the Woo Crew dialed "8" early and often negating the Steel City Mean Machine to nothing more than a tin cup that was kicked up and down Gary Avenue all Sunday afternoon long.

Seattle's Tyler Lockett took a kickoff to the house to help propel the Woosiers to a big vict'ry in Week 1

BDFL News

RICKA Rule in effect until Week 2 starters are due on Thursday AUDUBON PLACE - RB-Dion Lewis/NE is the latest player to join the BDFL through the innovative RICKA Rule. Developed in the league's formative years by Iron Hand, RICKA stands for Released, Injured, Cut, Kicked-Off, or Arrested. Used as a stopgap for a bad Draft Night decision, or just plain bad luck, the RICKA Rule is designed to keep the BDFL as competitive as possible in the early part of the season. This year there has already been a record 13 RICKA Rule transactions and there could be more. Other notable RICKA pick-ups include: WR-Ginn/CAR, TE-Rudolph/MIN, QB-Petty/NYJ, PK-Lambo/SD, RB-McKinnon/MIN, WR-Amendola/NE, RB-Rainey/TB and WR-Quick/STL.
