WATSON, AL – Mineral Springs School (1915 1972) was located west of Fieldstown, east of Brookside, at the foot of Lassiter Mountain and just over the railroad tracks near Republic. Mineral, as it was always referred to, was the setting of every legendary sports story told by DK when we were growing up. Tom Hand, David Cornelius and Donald Graves were the legends, but the school's fight song is the best ever: Strawberry shortcake, huckleberry pie, Mineral, Mineral Junior High. Are we in it? Yes, I guess. Mineral, Mineral, Yes! Yes! Yes!

The Pucker Factor Poll debuts after ten weeks of BDFL action

AUDUBON - Ranked from the tightest to the least tight, we have the season's first look at the BDFL's infamous "Pucker Factor". The tighter the "Pucker Factor" the less likely to make the BDCS. The poll is based on a W-L record and total point probability formula.
