2025 BDFL Pony Draft Watch
List
|
|
#1
RB-Ashton Jeanty BSU
Jeanty has shot
up the 2025 BDFL Pony Draft Watch List rankings with the
comparisons to Alvin Kamara being pretty accurate.
The BDFL's media experts see him going to the rushing-starved
Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 NFL Draft.
|
|
#2
QB-Cam
Ward MIA
He's a vagabond and South Beach seems to be his last stop
before entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward is a familar name on
the BDFL's Pony Draft Prospectus going back to the 2023 list
when he was at Washington State and could have entered the NFL
Draft back then.
|
|
#3
RB-Ollie Gordon
OKS
Gordon has been one of the nation's
leading rushers the last two years and
he
should be an excellent player in the NFL and in fantasy football.
No other team in the NFL runs through more running backs than
the Niners and they would love to have this Pony in their
stable.
|
|
#4
WR-Travis Hunter CU
On the BDFL's 2025 Pony Watch List,
you can play your way up the chart, or play your way down the
list. Hunter has moved up and should be a decent two-way player
in the NFL with a starting nod at cornerback and spot duty as a
wide receiver in Jacksonville.
|
|
#5
QB-Sheduer
Sanders CU
Sanders is a polarizing player. Great at times, but mediocre
most of the time. A season in the Big 12 should help his numbers
and draft stock. Desperate teams, do desperate things and the
Giants will be desperate come April.
|
|
#6
QB-Quinn Ewers UTA
Aiden O'Connell has been a nice surprise in Las Vegas, but he's no franchise quarterback.
Ewers has some swagger that will be hard for the Raiders to pass
on, if they get the chance. We see Quinn as a long-term solution
to the Raiders recent QB woes.
|
|
#7
WR-Luther
Burden MIZ
The Panthers have been in search of a
true #1 receiver since Steve Smith. Burden may be the best wide
receiver in this class and Bryce Young needs all the weapons he
can get. The BDFL media experts see Burden as the first WR off
the board in the 2025 NFL Draft.
|
|
#8
WR-Tetairoa McMillian AZ
For now, the BDFL media experts have
McMillian as the 2nd best wide receiver in the Class of 2025.
The Cardinals have been losing some pretty good receivers over
the last couple of years, so McMillian staying in Arizona makes
a lot of sense.
|
|
#9
RB-Quinshon
Judkins OSU
Judkins was hurt at Ole Miss last
season, so he fell off the radar, so he jumped off the Lane
Train with the Rebels and took his game to Ohio State where he
played with TreVeyon Henderson. We think this Pike Road product
will look good in Packers green.
|
|
#10
RB-TreVeyon Henderson OSU
Like a few others, Henderson has been on the BDFL's "Pony Watch List"
for a couple of years now. Henderson had to share carries with Quinshon Judkins,
this season, but it has helped keep them both fresh and physical
for the NFL Draft. Bengals need a big-time back.
|
|
#11 RB-Nick Singleton PSU
Penn State's #10 running back reminds us of another #10 - Isiah
Pacheco. Like Pacheco, Singleton runs with his hair on fire. The
Viks running game really hasn't been the same since cutting ties
with Dalvin Cook, so Singleton makes a lot of sense in
Minnesota.
|
|
#12
QB-Jalen Milroe UA
Milroe's NFL stock slipped a little
bit under the Crimson Tide's new head coach - Kalen DeBoer.
Milroe is a world-class athlete and weith the proper grooming
could be an NFL starter in the mold of Lamar Jackson, or Jalen
Hurts. This would be an Ozzie Newsome move.
|
|
#13
TE-Tyler Warren PSU
Warren is a special talent. A hybrid
type player in the mold of an old H-Back, some fullback with
some carries, but mostly projected as a tight end in the NFL.
He'll be a good fit wherever he goes and
could
add to the legacy of tight ends for the Indigenapolis Colts.
|

#14
RB-Cam
Skattebo ASU
This
guy is Billy Badass and his blue-collar running style and
mentality would fit in perfectly in Cleveland with the legendary
Dog Pound. Lord knows the Browns need more depth at running back
and Skattebo would be a crowd favorite from Day One.
|
|
 #15
WR-Matthew
Golden UTA
Golden shot up the BDFL Pony Draft Watch List with his
impressive play in the College Football Playoffs (CFP). The Falcons will need more weapons on the outside to go
with Pitts, Robinson, London and Mooney for their new starting
QB in 2025.
|
|
#16
WR-Emeka Egbuka OSU
His name is a handful, but he's made
his name with his hands. Egbuka is the next in a long line of
productive wide receivers from Ohio State. The BDFL's media
experts see him teaming up with his former Buckeye teammate
(C.J. Stroud)
down in Houston town.
|
|
#17
TE-Harold
Fannin BGU
Fannin could be the best tight end in
this draft class and that's saying a lot since this draft in TE
heavy. Fannin led the nation in receptions with 117 and will a
match-up problem for safties and linebackers in the NFL, plus
the Seahawks have needed a tight end for awhile now.
|
|
#18
TE-Luke Lachey UI
Lachey has been on the BDFL's patented
"Pony Draft Watch List" for two seasons now. The BDFL media experts
have Lachey pegged as the next bonified superstar tight end to
come out of TEU and eventually be the heir to Travis Kelce in
Kansas City.
|
|
#19
WR-Jalen Royals
USU
Mike
Evans can't play forever and the Bucs will be in the market for
another big play wide receiver this upcoming NFL Draft in April.
It could be Royals and a couple more as they try to replace the
first ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer.
|
|
 #20
RB-Raheim "Rocket" Sanders SC
Like Lachey and Henderson, Sanders has been on the BDFL's "Pony
Watch List" for two seasons now. Finally healthy during the 2024 college
football season, "Rocket" took off for the Gamecocks this past
season. Da Bears for now is what we envision for Sanders.
|
|
#21
TE-Colston Loveland UM
The Patriots need help all over and
the organization has always valued good tight ends and this
won't end with the Mike Vrabel hire at head coach. According to
the BDFL's media experts, Loveland is a close fourth to Lachey in this draft class
of talented tight ends.
|
|
#22
WR-Isaiah Bond UTA
Tide transfers to
Texas (Hall, Robinson, Billingsley, Nblack, etc.) haven't panned out
very well in Austin. Bond left Bama as a #1 to be the #4
receiver at UTA. Buffalo could use his speed to stretch the
field for Josh Allen and Amari Cooper to work the middle.
|
|
#23
QB-Jaxon Dart OM
Dart exploded during the 2024 season
at Ole Miss to move up the BDFL's 2025 BDFL Pony Draft Watch
List. We think the Rams will be taking a quarterback for the
future and Dart could be the guy to follow Matthew Stafford in
Los Angeles.
|
|
#24
WR-Tre Harris OM
Harris has skyrocketed up the NFL
Draft boards recently and therefore he has moved into the Top 25
of the BDFL's 2025 Pony Draft Watch List. The Broncos needs more
receivers out in the Mile High City and Harris would make a good
one for Peyton and Nix.
|
|
#25
RB-Omarion Hampton UNC
Running backs are under-valued in the
NFL, but not in the BDFL. Rushers like Hampton sometimes shoot
up the list overnight during the BDFL's annual Pony Draft. The league's
media experts see Hampton as insurance behind Barkley in Philly.
|
|
#26
QB-Dillon Gabriel UO
The Saints offense hasn't quite been the same since Drew Brees
retired and Sean Payton quit on the Who Dat Nation. Gabriel is a
nomad, but could fine a home in NOLA as the quarterback of the
future once the Carr quits running on Bourbon Street.
|
|
#27 QB-Riley
Leonard ND
The BDFL has always been a fan of
Fairhope's Riley Leonard. A year, or two, carrying a clipboard would be great for his development. With the Fairhope connection
to Phil Savage in the Jets front office, this could be a great steal
in the middle rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
|
|
#28
TE-Mitchell
Evans
ND
New heach coach Dan Quinn and his
offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury will continue to build an
offense around their new franchise quarterback, Jayden Daniels.
Tight end has been a weakness in DC for a decade now, but that
could change dramatically with Evans.
|
|
#29
RB-Jaydn Ott CAL
The Steelers will probably cut ties
with Najee Harris in the off-season and will be in the market
for free agent and draft prospects at the running back position.
We see Ott as one of those ball carriers behind the new
Pittsburgh starter - Jaylen Warren.
|
|
#30
RB-Donovan Edwards UM
The BDFL
media experts think Edwards can eventually be a three down back
in the NFL. With power, speed and explosiveness, don't be
surprised to hear his name on the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft
and a renuion in LA with Jim Harbaugh.
|
|
#31
WR-Evan Stewart
UO
Believe
it, or not, Jared
Goff and the Lions need more weapons in Detroit Rock City to compliment
Gibbs, Montgomery, St. Brown, LaPorta and Williams. This Oregon
Duck could have a shiny future in the Motor City.
|
|
#32
RB-Tre Stewart JAX
The Lions love to run it behind their talented offensive line,
but this past season when Montgomery went down, there wasn't
much behind Gibbs. We predict this Jax State Gamecock to
be a very good back in the NFL and Detroit would be smart to
draft him.
