From underneath a rock in Media Void

Living under a rock - Means being oblivious, or ignorant, to what happens in the outside world. It is used to describe a person who doesn’t know something that any “normal” human being is supposed to know, usually in relation to recent events.

Media Void - A ficticious city in a ficticious country which is free from all types of media and information. Where everybody in the city/state wanders aimlessly around uninformed about everything from the news, to weather, to sports and politics.

Week 5 - Simulcast on WEAK-FM Selma, Ala.

Bullets Blast Blitz:

After taking their 1st loss of the season in Week 4, the Bullets fired out of the barrel in Week 5 like a bullet. They hit the target on the bullseye. The Blitz went down in a heap, suffering multiple injuries, including an A.W.

Gamblers Dominate Dogs:

In another A.W., the Gamblers throughly dominated the Dogs. The "Real Deal" put a real whipping on Mark's Mutts, embarrassing the Preserve Puppies, and giving Mr Mark Burr no reason to believe his 20+ year losing streak will end any time soon.

Slovaks Slap Sleds:

Speaking of embarrassing, Mad Jack Barnes (or Jack Slovensky) was humiliated on Sunday by the Fighting Slovaks. It was NOT an A.W., but actually probably worse. ASlo immediately went on social media to brag about the vict'ry and distance himself from being "kin" to the PowerSleds.

Wizards Top Grenadiers:

In a closer game, Merlin scored enough to edge the Commish in Week 5. It was much closer than any one expected, but the Wizards will take it, boast about it, and chalk it up to BS and experience. Meanwhile, Old Iron will whine and moan and make excuses. Then he'll see that it really wasn't that close, but his fans did a good job of swaying.

Sloths Slip to Sin Wagon:

The Bulletin staff can't even remember how the Sin Wagon got rolling in the first place. However, once it gets going downhill it is hard to stop. The Sloths found that out on Sunday. The 3-Toed Tree Dwellers were plowed over by the Cheetahs in Week 5.

Woo Crew Tops Nauts:

The Woosiers whipped a bunch of girls this weekend. A.E.'s Juggernauts were no match for a riled up Woo Crew. Tommy T.'s team played with passion and completely overwhelmed the Nauts.

Freebirds Fly By Mayors

It was not easy, but the Black Creek Freebirds outlasted and outscored the Magic City Mayors in Week 5. Jaimie actually needed some help late Sunday, so he slipped the Cronies some Rat Poison. It worked like a charm. The Mayors drop to 4-1. No undefeated teams remain in the BDFL.

Wildcats Dump Dillos

The Western Hills Wildcats whipped the Duncanville Armadillos in a match up of two of the BDFL's vertically challenged teams. That's really the short story. Tribute to the BDFL's vertically challenged (they know who they are).
