SHINER, TX – Here in Lavaca County, life is laid back and the beer is fresh and smooth since Shiner Bock, a dark Slovak style beer that is distributed all over the world, is brewed down here at the Spoetzl Brewery, the oldest independent brewery in Texas. For these reasons, the BDFL media experts gather here each year for their annual sabbatical to drink beer, relax and sift through who they think will be the top picks for the upcoming BDFL Genuine Draft in late August. After a good long week in southeast Texas soaking up the rays and downing dark Slovak beer, these media experts have come up with the top 32 players for the BDFL draft.
