Sleds explode for a record 71 points
DOLOMITE,
AL - Power Up (sometimes shortened to PWR/UP) is the new studio
album from the iconic Australian rock band AC/DC which was released on
November 13, 2020. Power Up is a significant album for the band
because it marks the return of vocalist Brian Johnson, drummer Phil
Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams, all of whom left AC/DC before, during,
or after the Rock or Bust album tour in 2014. This is also the
band's first album since the death of co-founder and rhythm guitarist
Malcolm Young in 2017 and it serves as a tribute to him, according to
his brother and lead guitarist, Angus Young. The album has been well
received by the public and music critics alike, already reaching #1 on
the charts in 21 countries. When asked recently by a cub reporter from
Rolling Stone magazine, "Why do all 16 AC/DC albums sound exactly
the same?" Angus replied, "I'm sick to death with people saying we've
made 16 albums that sound exactly the same, when in fact we've made 17
albums that sound exactly the same." In the final week of the BDFL's 2020 regular season, the
PowerSleds blasted the Sloth Monsters 71-9 in the largest blowout in
league history to solidify their spot in the BDFL's upcoming 2020 Big
Daddy Championship Series (BDCS). Other clubs to earn spots in the
prestigious BDCS include the four divisional winners - Wildcats, Dorians,
Bellcows and Cheetahs. The PowerSleds were one of the four wildcard
teams to advance to the BDFL's relevant post-season playoffs along with
the Armadillos, Grenadiers and the Blitz, who snuck into the BDCS on
Monday Night Football with an historic win of their own. Every game
matters in the BDFL. All teams in the BDFL's 2020 "Elite Eight" have
been seeded 1-8 according to their final regular season
point total and will compete for the 2020 BDFL Championship Title which
will begin next week in Week 15 of the season. All eight BDCS teams will
have a legitimate shot at the title. Power Up, Big Daddy! As AC/DC so
appropriately says, "A shot in the dark beats a walk in the park".

The BDFL's playoffs begin in Week 15
TITLETOWN -
After 14 weeks of grueling competition, the BDFL has separated the
contenders from the pretenders. The contenders will compete for the next
three weeks in the Big Daddy
Championship Series (BDCS) for the 2020 BDFL Championship Title while
the pretenders will play in the Big Mullet Series (BMS) to determine who
gets the first pick the the league's annual Pony Draft in April. The
team to beat in the BDCS this post-season will be the #1 seeded
Southside Cheetahs. With seven different roster moves during the 2020
BDFL regular season, the Sin Wagoneers have improved week-to-week to
become the league's most consistent team with a league-leading 448
points heading into the post-season scramble. There will be worthy
challengers for the Cheetahs in the BDCS, but they must first get by the
red-hot #8 seeded Druid City Blitz who rallied on Monday Night Football to crash the BDFL's Big Dance. In the Big Mullet Series (BMS), it
is crammed full of excuses and teams shut out of the BDCS for their own
ineptitude. The BDFL media experts are bullish on the Bullets, Gamblers,
Mayors, or Freebirds to win this consolation bracket for
9th place in the BDFL.
