The Apocalypse Now

For a few teams like the Grenadiers, it is "do or die" time as the pucker factor and Bullet Rule now come into play
SILVER LAKES – This is the end, beautiful friend. This is the end, my only friend, the end. This is how Francis Ford Coppola's classic movie Apocalypse Now starts out with The Doors' - The End playing as the Vietnam War rages in the opening scene as Captain Willard comes to his senses. Released in 1979, it is the quintessential Vietnam War movie, not necessarily for the story line which is out there, but for the depiction of the war. If you haven't seen it in a while, it's worth watching again. It has many classic scenes, an awesome sound track and it parallels the BDFL. Power, grit, determination and elimination are a few of the similarities that come to mind first. As we approach the end of the regular season, keep in mind that only the strong survive in the BDFL. First Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) Poll Released

TITLETOWN – The new BDCS poll is designed to predict the teams that will make the BDFL's elite eight post-season playoffs. It is based on a formula developed by the BDFL's media experts and consists of four parts: Win/loss record, total points, mathematic probability and the computers.
