Playing like Broadway Joe, Mark Sanchez has the Brookside Dogs starring in their own movie this year

BROOKLYN - In the 1975 classic, first-time crooks Sonny and Sal attempt to rob the Chase Manhattan Bank. The plan goes awry quickly when they discover the daily cash had already been picked up. They turn to traveler's checks, but a bank fire alerts police who soon surround the bank. Unsure, the robbers decide to hold the people hostage. Sonny threatens to kill the hostages if anyone comes into the bank. Negotiations between the police and Sonny do not go as planned with Sonny gaining support of the civilians by shouting "Attica! Attica!" referencing a recent prison riot where 39 were killed. Sonny settles on a ride to the airport so they can leave the country, he gets pizzas for the hostages and then it gets weird when Sonny's transsexual wife Leon arrives. Most make it to the airport tarmac and while waiting for the plane to taxi into position, Sonny's gets distracted allowing Sal to be shot in the head. Sonny is arrested and the hostages released. A true movie classic. Rent it.

Grenadiers stick with their "Springs" legacy to relocate to Mineral Springs, Alabama

From the BDFL's original Green Springs Grenades to the Cool Springs Grenadiers, the league's oldest franchise (team actually existed two years before the BDFL) will go back to their early Fieldstown roots to now be known as the Mineral Springs Grenadiers. The greater Fieldstown area (Lassiter Mountain, El Dorado, Massey Hill, Baines Lake, Mineral Springs, Watson, Jew Hollow, Dogtown, Republic, etc.) which has lobbied the league for years now gets their dream team. With natural tie-ins like the “Yes! Yes! Yes!" cheer and the Fieldstown Bomb Squad, this was a no brainer.
