The Dixie Mafia expands their Bayou La Batre bordello territory to include the Cahaba River Cathouse

RIVERCHASE - With the oil spill and the sluggish economy along the Gulf Coast, the Dixie Mafia has had to look for ways to expand their territory of influence beyond the bayou. With some cane poles and baling wire, the Gulf's "Good Ol' Boys" put together a raft that would have made Huck Finn proud, then they headed upstream on the Tombigbee, hung a right on the Alabama and then a left to the Cahaba for a midnight rendezvous at the Queen of Hearts club. What they found there was easy for the taking. First, they upgraded the juke joint and starting charging a cover. Then, they charged the talent for the privilege to dance at the pristine palace and to get their money upfront. Finally, they passed the "touch and go" policy to get rid of the riff raff in short order. Now the place is all cleaned up and running smoothly. The only problem for the Cheetahs is all the cash is back on the raft headed to Mobile and the Gambino crime family.

Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) shaping up

AUDUBON - Through the first 10 weeks of football, the league's championship bracket (BDCS) is coming more into focus. The Woosiers, Grenadiers and Mayors are looking like sure bets with the Juggernauts, Bullets, Dogs, Cheetahs, Sloth Monsters, Blitz and Fightin' Slovaks left to fight it out for the final five spots. The pucker factor is peaking for the Wooden Warriors, Wizards, Gamblers and PowerSleds that are now facing must win weeks  to play their way into the BDCS.
