Eight teams survived the rugged regular season formula to make the BDCS including a couple of war-tested veterans

BLACK CREEK - Famous World War II U.S. Army General George S. Patton once offered, "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." That is what happened in Week 14 of the BDFL as eight teams made the other eight die for their country and a trip to Gulf Shores. As fate would have it, when the Grenade Brigade was 7-0 and the Tribe was 0-7, the Grenadiers brass felt sorry for the Wounded Warriors and made a trade that helped get them out of the doldrums. The trade sparked the Wooden Warriors and led to an unprecedented turnaround as Kawliga's Woodskins rattled off seven straight impressive wins to clinch a birth in the BDCS and  a grudge match against the Grenadiers in the first round. Others to qualify for the elite BDCS include the Armadillos, Mayors, PowerSleds, Wildcats, Fighting Slovaks and Juggernauts.

The quest for the 2012 BDFL title starts W15 with the BDCS

After 14 weeks of the regular season, the post-season will begin in Week 15 with the Big Daddy Championship Series to determine the league title and the Big Mullet Series to determine the King of the Dip$&%#$.
