Juggernauts find honor and glory over the weekend at two separate places where football is still a blast

JUGTOWN – The Gulf Coast Gamblers had to be shaking in their Bubba Gump shrimping boots when they heard the BDFL's hometown Jugtown Juggernauts were honored during the pre-game ceremonies at Bryant-Denny Stadium before the Crimson Tide's big vict'ry over the Razorbacks on Saturday. What they failed to realize was the Rice Rockets' adrenaline and Japanese engineered six-cylinder rice/bra hybrid burning engines would still be on fire and pumping strong 24 hours later when they arrived at Driver Stadium to face the one-armed Bandits from Bayou La Batre. This one was really over after the inspiring pre-game speech by head coach John Madden and the Nauts famous and often imitated "run down the hill" where every Juggernaut touches the vintage 1967 NASA rocket as they enter Ed Bruce Field. This was a huge win for the "Pride of Gardendale" as they try to prove their might in the Red Neck Division.

Lights, camera, action...BDFL goes Hollywood in Week 6

With a new spin on the league's annual Throwback Week, the BDFL will bring back teams from the best football fiction movies ever made. Each BDFL team will represent one team from 14 different movies or tv programs. From the Mean Machine in The Longest Yard to the California Atoms in the Disney classic Gus, the BDFL pays tribute to the best teams from the silver screen.
