Raiders Josh Jacobs could finish 2020 as the best RB in the AFC

Former Tide running back Josh Jacobs answered the bell in Week 4 for the Magic City Mayors

The Mayors post another magical week

LAMPASAS, TX - "61" by most all counts is a magnificent and somewhat magical number. The legendary University of Alabama football coach Paul William "Bear" Bryant won his first college football national championship in 1961. Roger Maris of the New York Yankees hit his record-breaking #61 home run in 1961 to pass Babe Ruth and his long-time Major League Baseball (MLB) record of 60 home runs that was once thought to be impossible to break. And if you missed it this week, Aaron Judge of the Yankees hit his 61st home run to tie Maris for the American League (AL) record. Also, four prestigious members of the Big Daddy Football League (BDFL) were born in 1961, so you know "61" is a significant number. Also, 6+1=7 and there are seven teams in the BDFL that make up the league's "Magnificent Seven", those seven teams who are stilll in the BDFL and who have been active in the league since 1995. In Week 4 of the BDFL, one of the "Magnificent Seven" who was born in 1961, scored 61 points in a their weekly match-up. The Magic City Mayors pulled yet another rabbit's foot from their hat of many tricks to steamroll the Armadillos 61-17 and left them wobbling roadside in South Texas.

TheBDFL.com is on pace to reach a new audience high during the 2022 football season

TheBDFL.com is growing in cyperspace

TITLETOWN - Due to strategic marketing, social media and the popularity of the BDFL worldwide, TheBDFL.com, the official website of the Big Daddy Football League (BDFL), continues to grow viewers in cyberspace. Last season, the BDFL surpassed a record 6,000 unique visitors and going into the 2022 season, the league’s media experts predicted the league’s worldwide website will top 7,000 unique visitors by December 2022. The current unique visitors total for TheBDFL.com through September is sitting at 4,200, so there is work to be done in the 4th quarter as usual. In cyberspace, unique visitors are defined as the total number of individuals who have visited a website during a set period of time. This is not a small feat for a league of just 16 team members. The BDFL.com is living proof that “content is king” in the media world.
