Redemption

Josh Allen says Bills-Steelers games are like 'boxing matches': 'We know they're going to bring it'

Josh Allen redeemed himself and the whole town of Benton with a monumental vict'ry in Week 3

The Bullets blast the befuddled Bellcows

FIELDSTOWN, AL - All the Fieldstown families (Hand, Cornelius, Fields, Hogeland, Hodges, Sorenson, McDuffie, Parnell, Richardson, Hunt, Elsberry, Holmes, Byrd, Oglesby, Belrose, etc.) were represented to witness this showdown at the Gardendale International Football Complex and to see if the Bellcows could defend their home turf against the shaky Bullets in a classic homecoming match-up in Week 3 of the BDFL. Going into Week 3, the Bulllets had a tight stranglehold on the league's Toilet Seat Team of the Weak with two awards in two weeks and 18 total points. First round QB-Josh Allen was on the verge of being benched and the Bullets were at their wit's end. In the other corner, the Bellcows were undefeated and possessed the league's highest point player to date. However, the proverbial Dreaded Schedule Maker (DSM) stepped in with a cozy trip for the Bullets to get back to their roots for some home-cooking and a day of redemption. Allen got hot and the Bellcows and Kyler Murray were not, as the Bullerino blasted the Cowchips 38-26 in one of the many surprises in Week 3 of the BDFL.

Pony Watch List

Sincere McCormick - 2021 - Football - UTSA Athletics

UTSA's Sincere McCormick is just one of 16 to make the first 2022 BDFL Pony Draft Watch List

The 2022 BDFL Pony Draft Watch List

TITLETOWN - The BDFL is more engaged with college football than any other fantasy football league in the world. This is not an exaggeration, but a fact. How many other league's actively scout college football talent on a weekly basis? How many other leagues draft college players prior to the NFL? I rest my case. Once again, the BDFL's media experts will monitor the college game closely and try to project the best talent available for the 2022 BDFL Pony Draft in April. The on-going "Watch List" will consist of the most anticipated players eligible for the upcoming Pony Draft. Here is the league's first version of the 2022 Pony Draft Watch List. This list will grow to 32 prospects with their projected NFL team as the college season progresses and more players become worthy.

2022 PONY DRAFT PROSPECTS

#1  QB-Sam Howell  NORTH CAROLINA

Drew Lock isn't the answer for this season, or the next one. Teddy Bridgewater is serving as a serviceable bridge. Look for Denver to draft this experienced and smart pocket passer after passing on Justin Fields in last year's NFL Draft.

#2  WR-Justyn Ross  CLEMSON

Ross has been one of the best wide receivers in college football the last three years, but didn't play last season due to an injury. We think the 6'4" Phenix City, Alabama wideout will land in Detroit come April of 2022.

#3  QB-Malik Willis  LIBERTY

Willis has a cannon for an arm and great speed. He has the ability to make jaws drop and scouts will be less concerned about his small-school status and more focused on his big play potential. Forecasted to land in Washington.

#4  QB-Kedon Slovis  USC

The BDFL is always happy to see a Slovak enter the league. The Saints haven't really addressed their quarterback position since Drew Brees retired. Slovis has Drew Brees-like qualities and could be a great long-term fit for Sean Payton's offense in NOLA.

#5  QB-Matt Corral  OLE MISS

Corral is a gunslingler and if San Antonio had an NFL developmental league team, we'd have to send him there. However, that ain't the case, so we predict he'll go to Seattle for a couple of years of tutoring under Russell Wilson.

#6  WR-Chris Olave  OHIO STATE

Olave may be the best all-around player in this draft. We had him high on the charts last year, but he elected to stay in Columbus for another season. With Beckham and Landry getting old, we look for the Browns to make a youth movement at wideout in 2022.

#7  WR-John Metchie  ALABAMA

Alabama had four of the best receivers in college football last season and Metchie was one of those guys. He's physical and fast which is a deadly combination in the NFL. We like him to go back close to home to the Buffalo Bills.

#8  RB-Bijan Robinson  TEXAS

My guess is that Texas fans think that Robinson is as good as Earl Campbell was and that he's the Heisman frontrunner this season, but we all know how delusional the Longhorn faithfull can be. Robinson has talent and we see him with the Falcons next year.

#9  WR-Treylon Burks  ARKANSAS

This Razorback is a hoss in every way you evaluate a receiver with speed, size, hand and moves. The Houston Texans could use a hoss at receiver. Iron Hand thinks Burks has first round potential. Time will tell.

#10  QB-Carson Strong  NEVADA

When unreliable NFL scouts say this guy is "strong" at least they'll get that part right. Nevada invented the pistol formation and it has been a decent offense to run for those wanting to play in the NFL, but we'll have to see if Strong can make the transition. Titans fit.

#11  QB-Desmond Ridder  CINCINNATI

Ridder is probably the best player in the Group of 5. Is the Sun Belt Conference in the Group of 5? If so, then maybe not. Quick...Name Joe Burrow's back-up in Cincinnati. We see Ridder staying in the Queen City to carry a clipboard for a while.

#12  WR-Garrett Wilson  OHIO STATE

My guess is this guy isn't quite as good as the guy who left OSU for Bama, but that doesn't mean he can't play in the NFL. We think Williams stays another season at Bama to be more like DeVonta Smith while Wilson can't wait to leave Columbus.

#13  RB-Breece Hall  IOWA STATE

Hall finished finished first in rushing last season behind Najee Harris and he's off to another fast start for the Cyclones this season. The 49ers like to stockpile running backs, so why not add another good one in Hall.

#14  RB-Sincere McCormick  UTSA

We are pretty sure McCormick isn't on your radar just yet, but he will be soon. He finished second in the NCAA in rushing a year ago and already has over 400 yards and five touchdowns this season. We see him is the Ravens stable next year.

#15  RB-Brian Robinson  ALABAMA

Robinson may lack the flash of past Crimson Tide standouts, but he has the talent to move the chains in the NFL. We see him as a 3-4 round pick going to a team in need of a more physical rushing game, some team like the Dolphins.

#16  QB-Spencer Rattler  OKLAHOMA

Iron Hand is not a big fan of Rattler and we see him purly as a "system" type quarterback aided at Oklahoma by a good offense in a horrible league for defense (Big 12). If anybody belongs in Dallas, it is this guy.
