RIVERCASE -  Coach Mike Price did the job, delivering a BDFL title in his one year at the helm of the Riverchase Cheetahs. Now the Cheetahs must replace Price and still try to repeat as BDFL champions in 2004. The leading candidate for the job right now is Joe "I could just kiss you" Namath.

New coach and a new logo in 2003 lead to the resurgence 

New in 2003 was the Cheetahs new head coach and their new logo and color scheme. The new white helmet features a burnt orange Cheetah in a full airborne stride. The helmet design is rooted in the University of Texas Longhorns motif, but with more class. This along with the Price hire were the leading forces in their championship season

Cheetahs can't keep Price as head coach after winning the 2003 Big Daddy Bowl

RIVERCHASE - Cheetah management tried desperately to keep Mike Price as their head coach for next year, however, negotiations broke down and Price accepted the UTEP Miners job to get back to the college ranks. Price was wanting a management position for Destiny insisting that he couldn't have done it without her. It has been widely rumored that besides Price's wide open style, that the key to the Cheetahs season this year was Destiny's coordination of the "Whips and chains bondage defense". An inside source said, "If Price thinks he can get it done in El Paso without Destiny, then so be it".
