Begging the Commish for a higher seed...

Commish:
I knew Longwell needed 11 last night to pull the Sloth Monsters even with me in the season point totals... and he got 11.

"I'm not sure what the rules are, but by golly I'll follow the rules and if they don't work in my favor, I'll suffer the &@ consequences."

However, I do think they work in my favor. The Bullets swept the Tree Toed Tree Dwellers in the season, head-to-head match up.

The Bullets also have the edge in overall record, recording a steller 10-win season at 10-6.

The Bullets should be the higher seed.

On putting an A.W. on the Blades: “We came, we saw, we mowed ‘em down.  And, they’re the ones that are supposed to have the lawn mowers.”

On finishing strong: “After starting 0-4, we battled back from injuries and ended up winning ten of our last twelve games.  We finished with a 10-win season and gave everybody a look at how strong we will be next year, if we don’t have the kind of injuries we did in ’03.”

On edging Sloth Monsters in tiebreaker for final position:  “We deserve it.  We swept the season series with the Monsters and had a better record.  To quote Webb Wilder, ‘Work hard, rock hard, sleep hard, wear glasses if you need ‘em.’”

Bullet gets one out, will try to remove the other one next week a la Charlie Bradshaw

On off-season plans:  “We plan to re-group, re-structure, re-build and remain strong.  We plan to continue taking it one game at a time.  We plan on taking care of the little things and pay attention to detail.  We plan on working hard.  We plan on taking a good hard look at ourselves and improving in every facet of the game.  We plan to produce.  We plan to win, and win with class.  But, first… we plan on taking a nap.”
