GREEN SPRINGS - With uniforms strikingly similar to the college football Miami Hurricanes, the Grenades now have the look of a champion. Getting there on the field and on the scoreboard will be the challenge in 2003. Head Coach Jerry Glanville and GM Chris Hand usually try to build with talent that understands their system, but this season there may be some new names and faces in the Green Springs training camp. Third place in the Gray Beard Division and sixth place overall last season has the Grenade faithful restless and ready for drastic improvements. Glanville and Hand have been working overtime analyzing the available talent and trying to scout for the difference maker this season. Lets hope when all the dust settles, the Grenades will be at the top of the BDFL heap in 2003.

The Bomb Squad blasts City Hall to dethrone the Mayors in Week 10

TRAGIC CITY - Using the Lee Marvin attack strategy, the Grenades descended on the Tragic City to fight City Hall. Looking a lot like the Dirty Dozen taking that castle looking place, the Bomb Squad was able to edge the Mayors in a close, but highly contested match-up, 45-39.
