Ponies find their new homes in the NFL

The BDFL 2015 Pony Draft picks find their new homes in the latest NFL Draft

TITLETOWN - The drama is over for the 2015 BDFL Pony Draft. We now know where the new studs will be roaming in the upcoming season thanks to the NFL Draft. Winston to Tampa Bay, Mariota to Tennessee, Gurley to St. Louis, White to Chicago, Gordon to San Diego and Cooper to Oakland highlighted the NFL's selection of the BDFL's newest bumper crop. Others that should be great fits and produce a bountiful amount of fantasy points include Addullah in Detroit, Perriman in Baltimore, Yeldon in Jacksonsville and Parker in Miami.

Five months ago shortly after the 2014 football season, Iron Hand compiled a list of 64 players destined for a shot at the BDFL in 2015. Part of the process was to handicap where they may land at the next level. We are happy to report that we nailed eight (8) college players with their new NFL team: WR-Cooper/OAK, RB-Gordon/SD, TE-O'Leary/BUF. PK-Obarski/CIN, WR-Harper/OAK, WR-Smith/NYJ, WR-Davis/NYG and RB-Payne/CAR.

2015 BDFL PONY DRAFT RESULTS
1	Juggernauts WR-Amari Cooper OAK	Rice Rockets sit out a year and end up with the #1 Pony pick. Not a bad way to rejoin the fray.
2	Wooden Warriors WR-Kevin White CHI	White was right at #2, but now the big question will be who can get him the ball in Chicago?
3	Mayors QB-Jameis Winston TB	Character will always be an issue with Winston, but he will put up some decent numbers in Tampa Bay.
4	Gamblers QB-Marcus Mariota TEN	The Gamblers rolled the dice on the smooth Hawaiian and could have hit the jackpot in 2015.
5	Grenadiers RB-Todd Gurley STL	If Gurley can stay healthy, he will be the Rookie of the Year in the NFL this coming season.
6	Armadillos RB-Melvin Gordon SD	The media experts love this pick and see Gordon having a Pro Bowl type season with the Bolts.
7	Fightin' Slovaks RB-Jay Ajayi MIA	Staying true to form the Slovaks reached badly for Ajayi. However, he could get some carries in Miami.
8	Wizards RB-Duke Johnson CLE	The Wizards worked their magic to get "Big Johnson" in the 8 hole. Should be first day starter in Brown.
9	Dogs WR-DeVante Parker MIA	Lots of value for the Dogs with this Pony stud since Parker should start for the pass-happy Fins.
10	Cheetahs WR-B. Perriman BAL	Cheetahs got lucky since they weren't prepared for the Pony. Breshad will start for the Birds in Riotmore.
11	Sloth Monsters RB-Tevin Coleman ATL	A sleeper pick from the Sloths. Coleman is a durable dude and the Falcons need an every down back.
12	Blitz RB-Ameer Abdullah DET	This was a Homewood homer pick, but Abdullah is a perfect fit for the rusher-starving Lions.
13	Wildcats QB-Brett Hundley GB	This pick didn't look awful until the Packers picked him. He'll have a hard time beating out Blake Sims.
14	Bullets RB-TJ Yeldon JAX	Yeldon will not have much competition for carries in Jacksonville, but will need to avoid getting killed.
15	PowerSleds WR-Dorial Beckham TEN	The PowerSleds took a chance on the "next Randy Moss" and may be laughing all the way to the bank.
16	Woosiers RB-David Cobb TEN	The Woosiers go off the grid to get Cobb who could struggle for carries in Tennessee.
