2026 BDFL Pony Mock Draft
|
|
#1
QB-Fernando Mendoza IU
The Armadillos like taking players
from Texas, but can't pass on Mendoza with the first overall
pick in the 2026 BDFL Pony Draft. Mendoza is looking like a sure
fire lock to go to the Las Vegas Raiders with the first overall
pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
|
|
#2
RB-Jeremiyah Love
ND
Da Blitz
earned the #2 overall pick on the 2026 BDFL Pony Draft with a
strong showing in the 2025 Big Mullet Series (BMS) down on the
Redneck Riveria. We have da Blitz taking Love with this pick and
the Cincinnati Bengals taking him in the 2026 NFL Draft.
|
|
#3
QB-Ty Simpson UA
The Bullets are homers and they don't
apoligize about it. We see the Bullets taking Ty Simpson with
the third overall pick in the 2026 BDFL Pony Draft. Then, we see
the Pittsburgh Steelers taking Simpson a week later in the
2026 NFL
Draft.
|
|
#4
WR-Jordyn
Tyson ASU
The Vulcans tend to lean towards an
obsecure pick in the BDFL Pony Draft, but probably not this
season since Tyson is at the top of the receivers list in this
"Class of '26". We see new head coach Joe Brady and the Buffalo
Bills trading up to take Tyson in the NFL Draft.
|
|
#5
RB-Jonah
Coleman UW
Like the Vulcans, the PowerSleds can
be unconventional in the Pony Draft. However, they usually value
running backs in the league's spring draft and we see them
taking the dependale Coleman from Washington and we see the New
Orleans Saints doing the same.
|
|
#6
RB-Jadarian
Price ND
The Mayors also tend to value RBs in
the Pony Draft and lean towards AI for thier evaluations. For
these two reasons, we see them taking the second stringer from
Notre Dame. The Bears need more depth in their backfield, so the
Price is right for Chicago.
|
|
#7
WR-Chris Bell UL
The Gamblers usually like wildcards
from Mississippi in the BDFL's annual Pony Draft. For this
reason alone,
we see the Gambino reaching for Louisville's Chris Bell from
Yazoo City with the 7th pick. Then, we see the Kansas City
Chiefs taking Bell in the NFL Draft.
|
|
#8
WR-Carnell
Tate OSU
The
Bandits are value pickers when it comes to the league's annual
Pony Draft and they have had luck with Buckeye receivers in the
past, so they won't pass on Tate in the eighth hole, if he's
available. We see Tate going to the Carolina Panthers in the NFL
Draft.
|
|
#9
PK-Tate Sandell OU
Let's face it, kickers are weird, but
they do stick together. Kickers are also more valued than ever
in the BDFL. For these two reasons, we see the Black Creek
Freebirds taking Sandell in the upcoming 2026 Pony Draft and him
landing in Atlanta in the 2026 NFL Draft.
|
|
#10
WR-Omar Cooper IU
The
Sloth Monsters are savvy when it comes to the BDFL's Pony Draft
and they tend to focus on talent, production and projections. So
we see them hitting the jackpot with Indiana's Cooper in the
Pony Draft. Then we see the New York Jets taking him in the NFL
Draft.
|
|
#11
RB-Emmett Johnson
NEB
According to the BDFL's media experts,
Johnson has high-volume
"bellcow" potential with elusive jump-cut ability. For these
reasons, we see the Fieldstown Bellcows falling in line to take
Johnson in the Pony Draft and the Houston Texans doing the same
in the NFL Draft.
|
|
#12
RB-Nick Singleton
PSU
The Grenadiers got their guy last year
with Cam Scattebo and we see them doing the same this year with
Singleton. Mismanaged and under-developed at Penn State under
James Franklin, Singleton is projected to shine in the NFL and
with the Minnesota Vikings.
|
|
#13
WR-Denzel Boston UW
During his bio-chemical warfare career, the Wildcats logged time
in the greater Boston metropolitan area, so he won't be able to
pass on Denzel Boston in the Pony Draft. With prototypical size
(6'4") and a massive catch radius, he's destined for the New
England Patriots.
|
|
#14
WR-Makai Lemon USC
At this point in the 2026 Pony Draft,
all you can hope for is good, quality value and we have the
'Nauts scooping up Makai Lemon as the best player available on
their war room board. We also see the Denver Broncos doing the
same thing in the 2026 NFL Draft.
|
|
#15
TE-Kenyon Sadiq UO
In the BDFL, some times the rich
gets richer. In this case, Kenyon Sadiq falls to the 15th pick
and the Southside Cheetahs are laughing all the way to the bank.
The BDFL's media experts tab Sadiq to the Seatttle Seahawks in
another example of the rich gettting richer.
|
|
#16
WR-KC
Concepcion A&M
With the Grand Daddy Trophy now
firmly in their grips, the Brookside Dogs don't really give a
rip about the 2026 Pony Draft. However, "The Pony" did help
propel them to the title in 2025. If KC Concepcion falls to #16,
they could win back-to-back BDFL titles.
